Eyewitnesses report that the storm triggered a landslide, leading to the uprooting of a tree adjacent to the road in front of the Manikaran Gurdwara. The falling tree caused significant damage to parked vehicles and nearby food stalls. Manikaran, situated at an altitude of 1,829 meters and approximately 40 km from Kullu, is a popular pilgrimage site, making the incident particularly tragic.
