When the time came to address the public meeting in Kanjyan, Chief Minister Jairam Thakur suddenly came down from the stage before the address and met the paralysis patient Pritam Chand and his family.

Hamirpur: In a sensitive approach by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur ahead of his rally in Bhoranj assembly constituency on Wednesday, he met with a family which was in urgent need of medial and other financial help from the government. The Chief Minister, without making a delay, noticed the family eagerly waiting at rally ground, met them before starting his speech from the stage. He, himself, reached to them, discussed their problems and extended both financial and medical support. The gesture shown by state chief minister was praised by people who had turned up to listen him
CM Jairam Thakur, who reached Bhoranj assembly constituency, set an example of serious leadership. When the time came to address the public meeting in Kanjyan, Chief Minister Jairam Thakur suddenly came down from the stage before the address and met the paralysis patient Pritam Chand and his family. With moist eyes, Pritam understood his problem to Chunky wife Ram Thakur and wept bitterly. Seeing this scene, everyone’s heart broke.
Pritam Chand is lying on the bed due to paralysis for the last 15 years. When there was no hearing anywhere, Pritam Chand’s wife Leela Devi reached the public meeting of CM Jairam Thakur with the patient husband. Here in the meeting place, when ailing Pritam Chand had trouble due to excessive sunlight, he was called aside and was given water.
When CM Jai Ram Thakur noticed the family from the stage, he got down from the stage before the address and listened to the problem of the family. On the spot, he talked about giving a help of Rs one lakh to the family and also directed the officials to bring an ambulance immediately to take the ailing Pritam Chand to the hospital.
CM Jai Ram Thakur said that the family has told him their problem and Rs one lakh has been given to the family. The ailing Pritam Chand also has a daughter who has dropped out after class II. His job will also be arranged and the government will bear his expenses for his further studies.
