Rohini’s Development Inspired from the Mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas Aur Sabka Prayas’: MLA Vijender Gupta.
New Delhi: Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Puri on Tuesday inaugurated three newly constructed multi-purpose DDA community centres in Rohini. These three centres have been built in Sector-15, Sector 7 and Sector 8.
Puri highlighted how the speed of the development work in the previous governments was snail-paced. The gap between laying the foundation and completing the project would often span years and even decades in some cases. In fact, many governments would come and go in the meantime, but the status of the project would remain unfinished. It is only after Narendra Modi Government coming to power, are people witnessing projects getting completed and dedicated to the public in a fixed time duration.
Vijender Gupta, Rohini MLA & DDA Member informed that all three multi-purpose community centres will be open to people of Rohini as well those living in nearby areas to organise wedding functions as well as other social events and gatherings. These centres would house a library, indoor games, and facilities for senior citizens among other things.
Gupta said that many such well-equipped community centres, as well as senior citizens’ recreation centres, have been built across the assembly during his tenure. Being near residential areas, they are being well-utilised by people for various purposes. It is his continuous endeavour to expand these development activities further for the people of Rohini, keeping in mind the core mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas Aur Sabka Prayas’.
