Mumbai: Amazon Prime Video made a splash on Tuesday with the announcement of 70 upcoming titles, including a glimpse of highly anticipated releases like Mirzapur Season 3. The video showcasing the slate of new content features snippets from various movies and shows, offering fans a sneak peek into what’s to come.
In the teaser, Pankaj Tripathi’s iconic character, Kaleen bhaiya, makes a memorable appearance, asking, “Bhool toh nahi gaye humein? (Hope you didn’t forget us?)”
The clip also features Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Shweta Tripathi, Isha Talwar and others, hinting at the return of the beloved characters in Mirzapur Season 3.
Mirzapur, which first premiered in 2018 followed by a second season in 2020, has garnered immense popularity in the Indian web space. Fans have eagerly awaited the third season, which has been in the works since the conclusion of the second installment.

In December 2022, Ali Fazal, who portrays Guddu in the series, announced the completion of filming for the upcoming season. Reflecting on his journey with the character, Ali shared insights into his preparation, revealing that he had to make significant changes to his appearance and lifestyle for the role.
“For Guddu, I had to almost fight with my director at the time that I don’t see him having hair,” Ali disclosed in a conversation with Jist. He also detailed his rigorous workout regimen, emphasizing his commitment to natural methods and a disciplined diet. Despite the challenges, Ali expressed his dedication to the role and the series, underscoring the intense physical and mental demands of portraying Guddu in Mirzapur.
Meanwhile, the video also had good news for fans of Panchayat. While the release of the most-awaited season 3 got delayed, Wednesday’s video showed a snipped of Panchayat, confirming that the web series will release this year.
Taking to Instagram, the OTT platform said, “As the Panchayat elections approach, both Pradhan (Neena Gupta) and Bhushan (Raghubir Yadav) camps engage in a fierce battle to uplift their public image. Navigating the murky waters of Phulera politics, Abhishek (Kumar) does his best to maintain his objectivity.”
