“I highly respect the judiciary. However, I do not support the decision of the session court in this matter,” stated Kejriwal.
NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday launched a fresh attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government saying that the disqualification of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as a member of parliament is a cowardly act and a sign of a scared government.
Addressing the Vidhan Sabha, Kejriwal criticised the manner in which Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been terminated as MP and said, “What is going on in the country is very dangerous, by eliminating the opposition, these people want to create an environment of One-Nation One-Party. I appeal to the whole country we have to come forward together, we have to save our democracy.”
“I highly respect the judiciary. However, I do not support the decision of the session court in this matter,” stated Kejriwal.
Terming the governance of the BJP as a ‘dictatorship’, Kejriwal alleged that the saffron party is trying to finish all the other political parties of the country. “The atmosphere that BJP is trying to create in the country is a matter of concern for all citizens,” asserted Delhi CM.
AAP national convenor also accused the BJP of threatening the MLA’s saying that the central government has started a new trend of threatening other MLAs of AAP. “Recently, an MLA approached me and told me that he was told by a local policeman that the ACB is doing an inquiry against him and that he would be the next AAP leader to be arrested,” Kejriwal alleged.
Launching a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the assembly, Kejriwal said that the current PM is the most corrupt in the history of the country and he is the least educated among all the PMs this country ever had.
“The current PM is unable to run the country efficiently as he is extremely egoistic and constantly thinks about which politician to send to jail,” Delhi CM added.
Taking the matter to Twitter, Kejriwal commented in Hindi, “The expulsion of Rahul Gandhi from the Lok Sabha is shocking. The country is passing through very difficult times. They have kept the whole country scared. 130 crore people will have to unite against their arrogant power.”
