Delhi Police have registered a case against Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, also known as Parth Sarthy, after multiple female students accused him of sexual harassment. The complaint was filed on August 4 at the Vasant Kunj North Police Station.
Police sources confirmed that Saraswati is a member of the management committee at Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management. During the enquiry, statements of 32 female PGDM students under the EWS scholarship were recorded. Of these, 17 alleged that the accused used abusive language, sent obscene messages, and made unwanted physical advances.
Investigators said that some faculty members and administrators of the institute also pressured students to comply with Saraswati’s demands.
Fake Diplomatic Car Seized, Accused Absconding
A case was registered under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, with 16 victims later deposing before a magistrate. Despite raids and surveillance, the accused remains absconding.
During the probe, police also discovered a Volvo car in the basement of the institute carrying a forged diplomatic number plate – 39 UN 1 – allegedly used by Saraswati. Following this discovery, another FIR was lodged on August 25, and the vehicle was seized.

Officials confirmed that the accused continues to evade arrest as investigations move forward.
