Hyderabad: In a broad day light incident of killing, a 25-year-old Dalit man was stabbed to death by his Muslim wife’s family in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The victim had married to Syed Sultana couple of months back against the wish of her family. Since religion of both was different, girl’s family killed him.
According to the report, the man namely Nagaraju was attacked by knife at Saroornagar Tehsildar office in Hyderabad when he was on bike. Police have arrested the accused persons who are belonging to his wife’s family.
Police have confirmed that a few of the suspects have been arrested, and that they all belong to the girl’s family. He was died due to stabbing at Saroornagar Tehsildar office at around 9 pm an assailant who was on a two-wheeler and fled from the spot. Meanwhile the incident was recorded in CCTV and even passers-by captured in their mobile phones.

As per the report, Police have arrested girl’s brother Syed Mobin Ahmed and one Mohammed Masood Ahmed for their involvement in the murder.
A BJP legislature Raja Singh demanded arrest of those involved in the planning and execution of the murder. BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala took to Twitter to comment on the issue. He tweeted, “Re-run of Ankit Saxena case. Nagaraju killed by family of his wife Syed Ashrin in Hyderabad because family of the wife could not tolerate she married a Hindu! THIS IS NOT HONOR KILLING – it’s a hate crime BUT the so called ISLAMOPHOBIA LOBBY /Not in my name Brigade is SILENT.”
According to the report, both the accused had developed a grudge against the deceased, as he had married the sister of one of the accused. They made a plan and killed the deceased by beating him with an iron rod indiscriminately and stabbing him with a knife.
