A heart-wrenching scene unfolded as Erika Kirk, wife of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, shared an emotional obituary on social media Friday. The post featured photos and videos from her husband’s final farewell, including moments where she was seen crying, holding, and kissing his hand at the open casket.
Charlie Kirk, a right-wing activist and aide to US President Donald Trump, was assassinated on Wednesday during an event at Utah Valley University. Police have arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson as a suspect in the killing.
Erika Kirk’s Emotional Farewell
Calling the world “evil” while expressing faith in God, Erika wrote, “The world is evil. But our Savior. Our Lord. Our God. Не…Не is so good. I will never have the words. Ever.”
She described her grief as a “battle cry,” writing, “They have no idea what they just ignited within this wife. If they thought my husband’s mission was big now… you have no idea. You. All of you. Will never. Ever. Forget my husband, Charlie. I’ll make sure of it.”

Other pictures captured Erika sitting by the open casket, clutching her husband’s blazer, rubbing his hand, kissing him, and whispering “I love you.” She was also seen holding a Batesville LifeStories Keepsake Medallion featuring an eagle beside Charlie’s hand.

‘I Won’t Let His Legacy Die’: Erika Kirk
Delivering her first public remarks since the assassination, Erika Kirk vowed to continue her husband’s work. “I promise I will never let your legacy die,” she said, speaking from the office where Charlie recorded his podcast.
“But most of all, Charlie loved his children, and he loved me with all of his heart,” she added, recalling how their daughter had asked, “Where’s daddy?” the night before. In response, Erika told her, “‘Baby, daddy loves you so much. Don’t you worry. He’s on a work trip with Jesus, so he can afford your blueberry budget.’”
She concluded with a message of determination: “In a world filled with chaos, doubt and uncertainty, my husband’s voice will remain. I will make his movement the biggest thing this nation has ever seen.”
