California Plane Crash: A small plane crashed into a commercial building near Fullerton Municipal Airport, California, on Thursday afternoon, killing at least two people and injuring 18 others, authorities said.
The crash occurred approximately 25 miles southeast of Los Angeles, and its cause remains under investigation.

Fatalities and Injuries
The Fullerton Police Department confirmed the deaths via a statement on “X,” adding that 10 people were hospitalized while eight others were treated at the scene. Investigators have not yet determined whether the deceased were onboard the plane or in the building when the crash occurred.

Jerome Cruz, a worker who witnessed the incident, described the chaos: “All we hear is like a loud noise, boom, and that’s it. Then we started running out [of the building],” he told CBS News.
Television footage showed significant damage, including a gaping hole in the building’s roof with smoke billowing out.
Plane Details and Previous Incidents
The plane, identified as a single-engine Van’s RV-10, is a small, four-seat aircraft. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has opened an investigation into the crash.
This incident comes just two months after another crash near Fullerton Airport in November, which injured two people.
