In a bold statement following a series of large-scale offensives, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for 71 coordinated attacks across over 51 locations in Balochistan, targeting Pakistani military convoys, intelligence hubs, and mineral transport vehicles. The group has declared that “a new order has become inevitable” in South Asia and is calling on India and the international community to recognize and support its struggle.
The BLA, which calls itself a “dynamic and decisive party” in the region’s strategic future, rejected long-standing accusations of being a foreign proxy. “We strongly reject the idea that Baloch national resistance is a proxy of any state or power,” the statement said. “The BLA is neither a pawn nor a silent spectator.”
Massive Offensive Aimed at Testing Future Warfare Readiness
BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch confirmed that the attacks were deliberately timed during a period of increased India-Pakistan tension. “The aim of these attacks was not simply to destroy the enemy but to test military coordination, ground control, and defensive positions to strengthen readiness for future organized warfare,” he stated.
This offensive marks one of the most significant escalations by the BLA in recent years and highlights the persistent unrest in Balochistan, a resource-rich region long marred by separatist insurgency and alleged state repression.

Pakistan Accused of Deceptive Peace and State-Sponsored Terrorism
The BLA launched a sharp critique of Pakistan’s internal and external policies, accusing the state of using peace rhetoric as a cover for fostering terrorism. “Every talk of peace, ceasefire and brotherhood from Pakistan is merely a deception, a war tactic, and a temporary ruse,” the group said.

Further, the BLA directly blamed Pakistan’s powerful intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), for enabling terrorism. “Pakistan has not only been a breeding ground for global terrorists but also a centre for the state-sponsored development of deadly terrorist groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, and ISIS,” it added.
Appeal for Indian and International Support
In an unusually direct plea, the BLA urged India and other global powers to provide political, diplomatic, and defense assistance. “If we receive support from the world, especially from India, the Baloch nation can eliminate this terrorist state,” the BLA said, positioning itself as a bulwark against what it describes as Pakistan’s violent expansionism.
The statement echoed longstanding grievances over Islamabad’s exploitation of Balochistan’s natural resources while offering little benefit to the local population.
Nuclear Weapons and Regional Stability
Perhaps the most alarming part of the BLA’s statement was its warning about Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal. The group argued that continued tolerance of the current regime in Islamabad poses a dire global threat. “The control of nuclear weapons by a fanatical military establishment is a ticking time bomb—not only for the region but for global security,” it warned.
Decades-Long Struggle Reignited
While the Pakistani establishment often downplays the Baloch resistance, suggesting it’s driven by a small group of insurgents, the BLA’s statements and actions suggest a coordinated and long-term insurgency. Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir recently claimed that the unrest in Balochistan was being driven by just 1,500 people, a claim sharply contrasted by the scale of the BLA’s recent operation.
This resurgence of violence indicates that the Baloch struggle for autonomy or independence is far from over—and perhaps entering a new, more assertive phase.
