West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday extended heartfelt congratulations to students who successfully cleared the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board examinations, lauding their hard work and resilience. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), she also offered blessings for their future endeavours and praised the parents and teachers who supported them throughout their academic journey.
“Heartiest congratulations to all my dear students who have successfully cleared the CBSE Standard X and Standard XII examinations this year. May your future endeavours be filled with even greater achievements,” Banerjee posted.
Mamata Thanks Parents and Teachers for Their Role
The Chief Minister acknowledged the critical role of families and educators, noting that their support system was a key factor in the students’ academic success.
“A special thank you and heartfelt wishes to the parents/guardians and teachers who have been behind your achievements,” she added.
In a compassionate outreach, Mamata Banerjee addressed students who did not pass the exams this year, urging them not to lose heart. Reassuring them of a brighter future, she wrote:
“To those who experienced setbacks, please don’t be discouraged – I am sure and confident about your future success. My blessings and best wishes are always with all of you.”

CBSE Results 2025: Highlights
The CBSE Class 10 results, announced earlier today, showed an overall pass percentage of 93.66%, a marginal increase from 93.60% last year. Girls once again outshone boys, outperforming them by over two percentage points.
In Class 12, the pass percentage reflected steady performance, though there was a slight decline in the number of students scoring above 90% marks. Girls also led the performance charts here, surpassing boys by more than five percentage points, continuing a trend seen in previous years.
Over 39 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE exams combined this year, with thousands of successful candidates hailing from West Bengal.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has consistently emphasized education as a priority in her governance. Under her leadership, the Bengal government has initiated several schemes like ‘Kanyashree’, ‘Sabuj Sathi’, and ‘Student Credit Card’ to ensure access to education and holistic student development.
