As per the report, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala suffered a cardiac arrest in the early morning and was taken to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai where the hospital authority declared him brought dead.

Mumbai: Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, a veteran trader and investor in share markets was died on Sunday morning. Jhunjhunwala, also known as big bull in Dalal Street, breathed his last in Mumbai. According to the reports, he had a net worth of $5.8 billion which he had earned through stock market and was 36th billionaire in the country. Hw was also famous as India’s Warren Buffett.
Jhunjhunwala, as a co-founder, had started India’s newest Akasa Air. The airlines has started its commercial operation last week. His death was condoled by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi also. Modi, in a tweet, said, “Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was indomitable. Full of life, witty and insightful, he leaves behind an indelible contribution to the financial world. He was also very passionate about India’s progress. His passing away is saddening. My condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti.”
Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia, who had launched Akasa Air last week, tweeted, “Sh Rakesh Jhunjhunwala Ji was not only an astute businessman, but also passionately invested in India’s growth story. He will be remembered for giving India its new airline @AkasaAir after more than a decade. My deepest condolences to his family & loved ones.”

A few week ago, Jhunjhunwala had undergone kidney related treatment at the Breach Candy hospital and was discharged later. His cremation will take place at Mumbai’s Banganga crematorium on Sunday evening.
After a successful career in trade market, Jhunjhunwala had entered commercial flight business. Recently, he had started commercial operation of Akasa Air with ex-Jet Airways CEO Vinay Dube and former IndiGo head Aditya Ghosh. The airline also condoled his demise and that he always took care of the employees and customers as well.
