According to the reports, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha sacked four employees as a part of crackdown on terror ecosystem in the state.

Kashmir: Syed Abdul Mueed, son of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Syed Salahuddin, wife of terrorist Bitta Karate and two other employees working with the Jammu and Kashmir government were sacked on Saturday for having terror links. According to the reports, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha sacked four employees as a part of crackdown on terror ecosystem in the state.
Farooq Ahmed Dar alias Bitta Karate’s wife Assbah Arzoomand Khan was an officer of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS). Karate is a terror accused associated with Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front. Other dismissed employees are Muheet Ahmad Bhat, Scientist-D is working with Kashmir University, Majid Hussain Qadri, senior assistant professor at Kashmir University and Syed Abdul Mueed, Manager IT working with Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI). Their removal was taken by invoking Article 311 of the Indian Constitution.
According to the reports, Bitta Karate’s wife Assbah Arzoomand Khan was sacked after unearthing her deep links with terrorist outfits and the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. Her dismissal came after carrying out investigation by the Union Territory administration. Assabah got her first job in 2003 at Sher e Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology. It was alleged that her appointment was done by violating norms. She was absent from work for months together between 2003 and 2007 but no action was taken against her. Later she was dismissed from the job in 2007.
During her absence from the job, she was reportedly visited Germany, UK, Helsinki, Sri Lanka and Thailand. It has also been unearthed that she was working as a courier for the JKLF. Jammu and Kashmir administration suspected her alleged role during Bitta Karate’s trial. She cleared her JKAS exam in 2011 and married Bitta Karate within a few months.
