New Delhi: Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on Monday witnessed collision of a flight with passengers onboard with an electric pole. The incident reported when a SpiceJet flight hit the pole during the pushback of the aircraft. According to the report, the aircraft was changes due to the incident and the passengers onboard were shifted to another aircraft. An enquiry has also been ordered in this regard.
As per the media report, flight SG 160 was scheduled to depart from Delhi to Jammu. “During push back, the right-wing trailing edge came in close contact with a pole, causing damage to aileron. A replacement aircraft has been arranged to operate the flight,” said the media report.
