New Delhi: Hitting back on the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government, Union Minister for Information and Broadcast Anurag Thakur said that Delhi deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is accused number one in Delhi liquor scam scan while Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is the Kingpin.
Slamming Manish Sisodia, Anurag Thakur said that the colour of the face of Deputy CM has gone after unearthing a scam and it was visible in his today’s press conference. He said that Sisodia did not give an answer to any question of the media and the Delhi CM should come in front of the nation and answer me within 24 hours.
Thakur took jibe at Sisodia saying that he might have changed the spelling of his name to “M O N E Y SHH” as he only makes money and keeps silent.
On Sisodia’s statement that 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be BJP versus AAP, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took jibe at him. Sarma said that it will be good for the BJP if Arvind Kejriwal is the opposition’s face for the 2024 election because many have not even heard his name. We will ensure bigger victory by winning more seats.“

Sisodia had said that the high command has asked the CBI to carry out raids at residences of AAP leaders as the government is misusing its powers. He said that the top BJP leaders are not worried about liquor policy but about the growing popularity of Arvind Kejriwal. The Deputy CM said that the 2024 Lok Sabha election will be BJP versus AAP.
Meanwhile, the Deputy CM of Delhi had skipped media questions regarding corruption over Delhi Excise Policy, its roll back immediately after Lieutenant Governor’s recondition of CBI enquiry of the policy and relation between him and other accused of the scam.
