New Delhi: A day after 14-hour long CBI raid at his residence over allegations of corruption in Delhi excise Policy, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday attacked BJP-led central government. The Deputy CM alleged misusing of central agencies to settle political score with Aam Aadmi Party leaders mainly Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Sisodia, while holding a press conference, said that he may be arrested by the investigation agency in next three to four days.
Rejecting allegations of corruption in Delhi Excise Police which was rolled back immediately after the Lieutenant Governor ordered CBI probe, Sisodia said that the policy was implemented with full transparency. He said that the allegations of wrongdoing are completely false and the party leaders are being framed just for political vendetta.
Launching a scathing attack on BJP government, he said that high command has asked CBI to carry out raids at residences of AAP leaders as the government is misusing its powers. After CBI’s departure from his residence late night on Friday, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister had said that AAP leaders are hardcore honest hence there is no possibility of corruption. Sisodia had informed seizure of his electronic devices including phones by the investigating agency in a raid which was carried out for more than 14 hours. The agency has also searched nearly two-and-half dozen premises across the country in connection with corruption charges in new liquor policy of the Delhi government.
