The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has ruled out the possibility of gang rape in the case of the rape and murder of a doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, which shocked the nation.
In its charge sheet, submitted on Monday, the CBI has identified Sanjoy Roy, a former contractual worker with Kolkata Police, as the prime accused. According to the investigation, Sanjoy Roy raped and murdered the doctor in a brutal act that left the nation in horror.
