New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Leader and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Sanjay Singh on Tuesday slammed the BJP’s Rajinder Nagar by-election candidate Rajesh Bhatia over the video and said that Bhatia abuses the people while AAP candidate Durgesh Pathak hugs them.
Addressing the media, Singh said that BJP’s Rajinder Nagar by-election candidate Rajesh Bhatia abuses the people while AAP candidate Durgesh Pathak hugs them. This makes us fundamentally different. Everyone in constituency has a video of the BJP candidate abusing a vegetable seller. BJP’s Candidate has alarmed the people by showing true face right before the elections.
“Rajinder Nagar is ready to give an enormous majority to Durgesh Pathak and sweep other candidates with Jhaadu. In the past few months, we were able to effectively interact with the citizens which have assured us that the people have made up their mind to favour the AAP in the upcoming elections. They have witnessed development work taking place in the area to improve water and electricity supply, education,” Singh said.
“The Delhi government brought visionary schemes and implemented them with success. We received enormous positivity and warmth from the people during the campaigning. Wherever we went, any area, any ward, even those who do not belong to the AAP, were praising the progress brought by the AAP government. A vast majority is going to vote for Pathak by pressing the ‘Jhaadu” button.” he said.
“During the campaign, the BJP showed its anxiousness. Before the election, there were talks that Adesh Gupta will be their candidate but he ran away. Then there were claims that Tejinder Bagga will contest the election from the BJP but he also fled. Then they announce that Rajesh Bhatia will be their candidate whose video is getting viral. Every person in Rajinder Nagar has seen that video in which he was abusing a vegetable seller. He did a huge favour to the people of Rajinder Nagar as they have been alarmed after getting to know his true face right before the elections,” Singh concluded.
