In a tweet, the Kashmir Zone Police said one of the three terrorists was responsible for the death of a policeman identified as Reyaz Ahmad on May 13.

Srinagar: Three terrorists of the Lashkar-e-Toiba were gunned down by security personnel in an overnight encounter in the Drabgam area of Pulwama, said the police.
In a tweet, the Kashmir Zone Police said one of the three terrorists was responsible for the death of a policeman identified as Reyaz Ahmad on May 13.
“#PulwamaEncounterUpdate: All three killed #terrorists are locals, linked with #terror outfit LeT. One of them has been identified as Junaid Sheergojri, involved in #killing of our colleague #Martyr Reyaz Ahmad on 13/5/22: IGP Kashmir @JmuKmrPolice,” the Kashmir Zone Police said in a tweet.
“#PulwamaEncounterUpdate: Other two killed #terrorists have been identified as Fazil Nazir Bhat & Irfan Ah Malik of #Pulwama district. #Incriminating materials, arms & ammunition including 02 AK 47 rifles and 01 pistol recovered: IGP Kashmir @JmuKmrPolice,” the police said in another tweet.
The latest encounter comes days after two militants of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) were killed in an overnight gunfight in Rajpora of the Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Security forces, on May 28, had killed two terrorists in an encounter at Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmir Zone Police had informed to gun down both the terrorists and recover incriminating materials including arms and ammunition from the spot
According to IGP Kashmir, both terrorists had identified as Ishfaq Ah Ganie resident of Chakwangund, Anantnag and Yawar Ayub Dar, resident of Dogripora, Awantipora. They were affiliated with proscribed terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen. The duo were involved in several terror related activities.
On May 26, Security forces had successfully thwarted an infiltration bid and had killed three terrorists of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
