Operation Sindoor Details | In a stunning display of precision and coordination, India launched 24 missile strikes across nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) early Wednesday morning, eliminating over 70 terrorists in just 25 minutes under Operation Sindoor. The strikes, executed between 1:05 AM and 1:30 AM, involved joint efforts by the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy, making it one of the most calibrated anti-terror operations in recent history.
At a press briefing in New Delhi, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, flanked by Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, confirmed the success of the mission, describing it as a “measured, proportionate and non-escalatory” retaliation to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which killed 26 people, including a Nepali national.

“Our intelligence indicated imminent threats of more cross-border terrorism. India was compelled to act in order to deter further attacks. The operation was focused, strategic, and solely aimed at dismantling terror infrastructure,” said Misri.
Terror Camps Obliterated in Pakistan and PoK
The nine terror hubs struck were located in:
- Muzaffarabad
- Kotli
- Bahawalpur
- Rawalakot
- Chakswari
- Bhimber
- Neelum Valley
- Jhelum
- Chakwal
Out of these, five were situated in PoK while four were within mainland Pakistan, including Bahawalpur, known as the operational hub of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM). Intelligence inputs also confirmed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) activity in the remaining locations.

Colonel Qureshi stated: “Pakistan has spent the last three decades building a terror ecosystem — training camps, launch pads, arms depots. Operation Sindoor has disrupted that network.”
Massive Damage, No Civilian or Military Collateral
According to official sources, UAV surveillance confirmed total destruction of command and control centres, terror training camps, arms dumps, and staging facilities. Over 60 more terrorists were injured, significantly degrading the operational capability of these groups.
Crucially, the operation avoided Pakistani military assets and was conducted with surgical precision using:
- Laser-guided missiles
- Satellite-guided glide bombs
- Air-launched and ground-launched platforms
- Real-time drone surveillance

“We made every effort to prevent civilian casualties. The focus was solely on known terrorist infrastructure,” said Wing Commander Singh.
India Sends Strategic Signal With Coordinated Missile Barrage
The strikes were designed to send a clear message to Pakistan and the international community: India will not tolerate cross-border terrorism and will hold those responsible accountable — not just with words, but with action.
Government sources confirmed that all objectives were achieved, marking a major strategic success in India’s counter-terror policy.
