Teams of senior police officials from Gautam Buddh Nagar are present at the location since Saturday and are ensuring arrangements in the proper place.
Noida: Since few hours are left to demolish Supertech twin towers located in Noida Sector 93A, all arrangements have been made to execute the work in a hassle free manner. The agencies have claimed to take all required measures like closing roads of the area, halting traffic at Noida Greater Noida Expressway, evacuating residents living in Emerald Court and ATV Village societies, disconnecting power and water supplies, installing special machines to check dust and air pollution after the blast.
The most significant is that the agencies have made adequate arrangements of police personnel besides a disaster response team at the demotion site. As per the report, a team from National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) has been deployed to tackle any untoward incident while 560 police personnel and senior officials have been deployed in and around the area. In addition to this, four quick response teams have also been sent at the place to meet any emergency requirement.

To execute the demolition work, more than 3,700 kg of explosives will be used. For the scheduled implosion, the skeletal structures of the twin buildings were rigged with explosives. According to the report, the agency hired to demolish the towers have placed the explosives as per the schedule and the charging process has also been done.
The authorities have also marked an area of 450 metre in front of the twin towers as an exclusion zone where neither any people nor animals will be allowed to go. There will be ‘no fly zone’ for drones in the vicinity of the towers. Since the demolition will take place around 2:30 pm, no traffic movement will take place between 2:15 pm and 2:25 pm on Sunday.
