New Delhi: Missing Nepalese plane carrying 22 passengers, including four Indian nationals, which had lost contact with the ground control on Sunday morning, was found at Kowang in Mustang district.
As per the media reports quoted the country’s civila aviation authority said that Nepal Army helicopter carrying 10 soldiers and two employees of the civil aviation authority has located the site where the small plane of a local airline has possibly crashed. The army helicopter har reportedly landed at the bank of a river near the Narshang Monastery, the possible site of the crash.

“The cell phone has been ringing and Nepal Army’s helicopter has landed in the possible accident area after tracking the captain’s phone from Nepal Telecom. Personnel from Nepal Army and Nepal Police were rushed thereafter to locate the site,” said an official.
Early morning, Nepalese plane carrying 22 passengers, including four Indian nationals, lost contact with the ground control, authorities said. The aircraft, a Tara Air’s 9 NAET twin-engine plane, was flying from Pokhra to Jomsom and lost contact around 9:50 am.
The aircraft was also ferrying Japanese passengers. “The aircraft was seen over the sky of Jomsom in Mustang district and then had diverted to Mount Dhaulagiri after which it hadn’t come into contact,” chief district officer Netra Prasad Sharma told the media.
“There are four Indian nationals, two Germans and 13 Nepali passengers besides a three member Nepali crew,” said another official.
