Days after a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander revealed the impact of Indian strikes on Bahawalpur, a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative has admitted that the group’s headquarters at Markaz Taiba in Muridke was destroyed by Indian armed forces during Operation Sindoor.
After Jaish commander ilyas kashmiri now Lashkar-e-Taiba Commander Qaasim has torn apart Pakistan’s lies on Muridke terror camps.

In a widely circulated video on social media, LeT commander Qaasim acknowledged the destruction of the Muridke camp in Pakistan’s Punjab province and said it was being rebuilt “bigger than before.”
“I am standing on the ruins of Markaz Taiba in Muridke, which was destroyed in the (Indian) attack. The process of rebuilding it is underway. With god’s grace, this mosque will be built bigger than before,” Qaasim said while standing in front of the under-construction site.
Terror training and rebuilding claims
Qaasim admitted that many terrorists — referred to as mujahideens and talaba (students) — received training at the destroyed Markaz Taiba mosque and achieved what he called “victory (Faiz).” He also urged Pakistani youths to join Daura-e-Suffa, a terror training program at Muridke that combines basic training with religious indoctrination.

Pakistan has claimed the demolished building was no longer in use by the terror group. However, in another viral video, Lashkar deputy chief Saifullah Kasuri was heard asserting that the Pakistan government and army had provided funds for rebuilding the headquarters.
According to a dossier prepared by India’s intelligence agencies, cited by NDTV, Lashkar is quietly reconstructing the Muridke facility and plans to inaugurate the complex on February 5, 2026 — Kashmir Solidarity Day — coinciding with its annual convention. Intelligence inputs suggest the rebuilt headquarters will once again serve as the epicentre for training, indoctrination, and operational planning.
Operation Sindoor strikes multiple terror bases
The Indian Army carried out coordinated overnight strikes on May 7, destroying nine terror locations inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in retaliation for the killing of 26 civilians in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam. Targets included Lashkar’s Muridke camp, Jaish-e-Mohammad bases in Bahawalpur, Hizbul Mujahideen facilities in Sialkot, and additional LeT sites in Barnala and Muzaffarabad.
Earlier, JeM commander Masood Ilyas Kashmiri admitted in a viral video that the family of Masood Azhar was “torn into pieces” in the Bahawalpur strikes, adding that Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir had “sent generals to funerals” of those killed.
