The Telangana CM said that efforts should be made to unite all opposition parties in the fight against the BJP.

Patna: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at the latter’s residence. During his visit, the Tenlangana CM said that all opposition parties should unite and raise the ‘BJP-Mukt Bharat’ (BJP free India) slogan.
The Telangana CM said that efforts should be made to unite all opposition parties in the fight against the BJP. He said that Nitish Kumar can play a major role in this regard. The Bihar CM, however, made it clear that they have the big picture in mind.
“We have been trying for the main front instead of the third front. We the like-minded parties will come together by keeping all contentious issues aside,” KCR said.
Earlier today, The Telangana CM reached Patna where he held discussion with his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar where Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav was also present. KCR also met with RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad and his wife Rabri Devi at their residence.
Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, in a tweet, said, “Today the Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar and the Chief Minister of Telangana Shri K Chandrashekar Rao, in the joint program of the Government of Bihar and Telangana Government with Chandrashekhar Rao ji, paid emotional tribute to the brave sons of Bihar who were martyred in the Galwan Valley and the brave workers of Bihar who were martyred in the Hyderabad accident.”
On the occasion, Telangana CM KCR along with Bihar CM Nitish Kumar distributed cheques of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Galwan Valley and of Rs 5 lakh to each family of the migrant workers who died in a mishap in a scrap godown.
