New Delhi: Days before announcement of dates for the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Jharkhand, West Bengal and Bihar. Though the Prime Minister will visit the states inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation stone of multitude of projects but visit is being considered a big push for BJP’s poll prospect. These three have total 96 seats and the BJP will have to put all efforts to retain its previous tally in the upcoming polls.
In the first phase, PM Modi will be in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad where he will inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation stone of series of projects worth Rs 35,700 crore on March 1. On the same day, the PM will take part in a public event and will inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation stone of developmental projects worth more than Rs 7,200 crore West Bengal’s Arambagh, Hooghly.

The Prime Minister will be in West Bengal’s Krishnanagar on March 2 where he will inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth Rs 15,000 crore. In the afternoon, the PM will inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth Rs 21,400 crore in Bihar’s Aurangabad. In the evening, the PM will be in Bihar’s Begusarai district where he will participate in a public programme and inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation stone of multiple oil and gas sector projects worth about Rs 1.48 lakh crore across the country, and several development projects in Bihar worth more than Rs 13,400.
In Dhanbad’s Sindri, Modi will inaugurate, dedicate to nation and lay the foundation stone of multiple developmental projects related to fertiliser, rail, power, and coal sector. He will dedicate to the nation the Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Ltd (HURL) Sindri Fertiliser Plant.
In Hooghly’s Arambagh, the PM will lay the foundation stone and dedicate to nation multiple developmental projects related to sectors like rail, ports, Oil Pipeline, LPG supply and wastewater treatment. PM will inaugurate Indian Oil’s 518-km Haldia-Barauni Crude Oil Pipeline developed at a cost of about Rs 2,790 crore. This pipeline passes through Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal.
In Krishnanagar, Prime Minister will inaugurate, dedicate to nation and lay the foundation stone of several development projects related to sectors like power, rail and road. In Aurangabad, Modi will inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 21,400 crore.
