On what led to form the alliance once again with Kumar, who had left the Mahagathbandhan three years back, Tejashwi said they could see that Kumar is uncomfortable in the alliance with the BJP.

New Delhi: In an interview to a media house, RJD leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav said he wishes to invite the central agencies like ED, CBI and the I-T to come and stay at his home.
Talking to NDTV, Yadav said, “Let them (investigating agencies) open an office at my house. I’m issuing an invitation via your channel – ED, CBI, Income Tax, please come and stay as long as you want to. Why go away and come after two months to raid us? Just stay, it’s easier.”
He further said the central agencies are working like “BJP party’s cell”. Tejashwi has several corruption cases filed against him and was slammed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over those cases. The number 2 in the newly-formed alliance government also hailed Nitish Kumar’s decision to break the alliance with BJP.
On what led to form the alliance once again with Kumar, who had left the Mahagathbandhan three years back, Tejashwi told the media house that they could see that Kumar is uncomfortable in the alliance with the BJP. “It was spontaneous, no pre-planned move,” Tejashwi said.
When asked if Nitish Kumar is the “best placed person to lead the country in 2024”, Tejashwi said, “He has administrative experience. If Narendra Modi can, why not Nitish Ji? Anyone can become PM. If he can become PM, then anyone can become PM.”
Day after dumping the alliance with BJP, Nitish Kumar on Wednesday had taken oath as the Bihar Chief Minister for the record eight time. While six times he took help from BJP to become the Chief Minister, he was twice helped by Rashtriya Janata Dal, including this time.
In his address, Kumar had said, “I did not want to be the Chief Minister after the 2020 election results but I was put under pressure…ask the people in the party what have they been reduced to…I have not even spoken to you in two months.”
The Chief Minister had also said that he is not afraid of the central agencies and the BJP.
