New Delhi: With the maximum temperature settled at 32.7 degrees Celsius, seven notches below the normal temperature for this time of the year, Delhi on Saturday witnessed a clouded sky in the morning on third consecutive day. The minimum temperature in the capital dipped to 24.4 degrees Celsius, four notches lesser than the normal for this season, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The relative humidity in the weather of Delhi on Saturday was recorded at 90 per cent at 8:30 in the morning and 62 per cent at 5:30 in the evening.
According to the data released by the weather station, the observatories at Ridge, Ayanagar, Najafgarh, Pitampura, Palam, and Lodhi Road recorded maximum temperatures of 32.7 degrees Celsius, 32.5 degrees Celsius, 34.9 degrees Celsius, 33.5 degrees Celsius, 32.3 degrees Celsius and 32.2 degrees Celsius respectively.

The maximum and minimum temperature on Sunday are expected to hover around 32 and 24 degrees Celsius, the Met office said.
“Conditions are favorable for further advance of monsoon into some more parts Madhya Pradesh, remaining parts of Vidarbha, Andhra Pradesh and northwest Bay of Bengal, some more parts of Chhattisgarh and Odisha, some more parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar and northeast Uttar Pradesh during next two-three days,” said RK Jenamani, IMD.
With the city receiving light rainfall over the last two days, waterlogging was reported from some parts.
The air quality index (AQI) was recorded in the “satisfactory” category at 73 on Saturday evening, data from the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR) showed.
An AQI between zero and 50 is considered “good”, 51 and 100 “satisfactory”, 101 and 200 “moderate”, 201 and 300 “poor”, 301 and 400 “very poor”, and 401 and 500 “severe”.
