Avind Kejriwal, recently released from Tihar jail, embarked on a rigorous schedule on Saturday, commencing with seeking divine blessings at Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place, followed by a press conference. The Chief Minister then launched into a series of roadshows, beginning from South Delhi’s Mehrauli and concluding in East Delhi’s Krishna Nagar, accompanied by Bhagwant Mann, the CM of Punjab, and other AAP leaders.
“I am coming amongst you all directly from the jail. It feels great to be amongst you after 50 days. Just now, my wife and Bhagwant Maan went to Prachin Hanuman Mandir of Connaught Place, took blessings of Hanuman ji, had his darshan, then went to Shiv ji’s temple, went to Shani Maharaj and took everyone’s blessings. Bajrang Bali ji has blessed us, our party and the country people. Because of his blessings, I am suddenly amongst you today, otherwise nobody expected that I would be released from jail in the middle of elections. But Hanuman ji’s blessings were upon us and a miracle happened and today I am amongst you all,” said Kejriwal.

Addressing his supporters, Kejriwal expressed gratitude for their steadfastness during his 50-day absence. He recounted visiting various temples with his wife and Bhagwant Maan before commencing his public engagements. During the roadshows, Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann, atop an open-roof vehicle, greeted supporters and AAP volunteers who marched along, displaying party flags and chanting slogans.
In a scathing critique of the BJP, Arvind Kejriwal predicted a decline in the party’s Lok Sabha presence across several states, based on discussions with political experts during his brief respite outside jail. He confidently asserted BJP’s impending loss in Delhi and Punjab seats, envisioning the formation of a new government by the INDIA bloc, with AAP playing a pivotal role. Additionally, he reiterated his commitment to Delhi’s full statehood.
Reflecting on his arrest, Kejriwal lamented the circumstances, attributing his detainment to his efforts in enhancing education and healthcare in Delhi. He accused authorities of neglecting his health during his incarceration, alleging a concerted effort to destabilize the Delhi government.
Kejriwal’s statements during his engagements highlighted his confidence in the AAP’s electoral prospects and his determination to continue serving the people of Delhi despite the challenges faced.
