A woman, wearing a burqa and carrying a bag, came into the frame of the camera and stopped in the middle of the road near the camp. She hurled a bomb at the bunker. She immediately ran away from the site.
Jammu: A woman in burqa was spotted in video footage throwing a bomb at Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) security camp in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore town on Tuesday. The entire sequence was caught in CCTV cameras installed in the camp area.
As per the video recorded, it shows that some people are passing the road. A woman, wearing a burqa and carrying a bag, came into the frame of the camera and stopped in the middle of the road near the camp. She hurled a bomb at the bunker. She immediately ran away from the site.
As pet the media report, the woman hurled a petrol toward security personnel at the CRPF camp since the bomb was thrown outside CRPF camp, neither loss nor injury was reported. The entire area was cordoned off immediately after the incident. CCTV footage was scanned to identify the woman. It has reportedly been said that the identity of the attacker has been established but she is yet to be taken into custody. A massive search operation is underway to locate the attacker.
