Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has cancelled the 67th preliminary examination after the news of a question paper leak surfaced. Many candidates claimed that the question paper kept floating on various social media platforms including telegram groups.
A committee was set-up by the state government as soon as reports of a question paper being circulated reached authorities to validate the claims. The committee after evaluation had confirmed the veracity of the claim. The commission is considering taking help from a cyber cell to investigate the matter.
A large number of students had appeared for the exam on Sunday. Many of them visited the respective centers from across the country. After the news of the paper leak spread, candidates were seen disappointed and started returning homes taking lift in even trucks. The question paper, however, was on WhatsApp ahead of the beginning of the exam. According to candidates, it was the set-C which was leaked online.
