New Delhi: Around afternoon, when the trends were clear, big names who lost or whose parties tasted defeat in the 2022 Assembly elections held across five states took to Twitter to accept their defeat. The elections were held in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur.
While BJP managed to retain Uttar Pradesh and also better their vote share, Punjab was snatched by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Manipur was once again retained by BJP along with Goa and Uttarakhand.
