New Delhi: In a significant stride towards bolstering India’s infrastructure, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Friday went on a spree of inaugurations and foundation stone layings across multiple states.
Rae Bareli Witnesses Inauguration of Eight National Highway Projects
In a significant development aimed at enhancing infrastructure, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, inaugurated eight National Highway projects in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh. With a collective investment of Rs 4142 crore, these projects are poised to significantly improve connectivity and transportation in the region.
Foundation Stone Laid for Ten National Highway Projects in Jaunpur
Simultaneously, Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone for ten National Highway projects in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, signaling a major boost to infrastructure development in the state. With an estimated investment of Rs 10,000 crore, these projects are slated to usher in a new era of connectivity and economic growth.

Goa Receives Substantial Allocation for Highway Construction
In a bid to bolster Goa’s infrastructure, Minister Gadkari approved Rs 766.42 crore for various National Highway projects in the state. Notable among these is the construction of a 4-lane flyover and a Vehicular Underpass, aimed at easing traffic congestion and improving transportation efficiency.
Assam’s Infrastructure Gets a Boost
Highlighting the government’s commitment to improving connectivity in Assam, Nitin Gadkari sanctioned Rs 3,371.18 crore for three vital highway projects in the state. These projects, aimed at widening key sections of NH-37 and 8, are expected to enhance accessibility and spur economic development in the region.
Accelerating Development in Uttar Pradesh
Underscoring the focus on Uttar Pradesh’s development, Minister Gadkari laid the foundation stone for two National Highway projects worth Rs 1750 crore in Mirzapur. With the presence of state ministers, MPs, MLAs, and officials, these projects symbolize collective efforts towards accelerating infrastructure development in the state.
