In a sensational claim, Sisodia said that he has received a message which said that all CBI and ED related cases will be closed if he joins BJP.
New Delhi: Amid allegations and counter allegations after CBI’s raids over corruption in Delhi Excise Policy, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Monday said that he will not betray Arvind Kejriwal as he is my political guru.
Sisodia, in a sensational claim, said that he has received a message which said that all CBI and ED related cases will be closed if he leaves Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and joins Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said that the message was in two parts and was sent by a BJP leader.
Replying deputy, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “It means CBI ED raid has nothing to do with liquor policy and corruption? These raids were done only to topple the “AAP” government in Delhi? Like they have done in other states.”

Sisodia, in a tweet, said, “BJP’s message has come to me – break “AAP” and join BJP, will get all CBI ED cases closed. My reply to BJP – I am a Rajput, a descendant of Maharana Pratap. I will cut off my head but will not bow down in front of the corrupt-conspirators. All the cases against me are false. Do whatever you want to do.”
“My message to BJP on offer to make me CM candidate- @ArvindKejriwal Sir is my political mentor, I will never betray him. I did not come to become CM, my dream is – every child of the country should get good education, only then India will not become 1 country. Only Kejriwal ji can do this work in the whole country,” he said in another tweet.
Deputy CM said that all the cases against him are false. He is with Arvind Kejriwal because he is honest. Sisodia said that those messaged him claimed they got leaders like Suvendu Adhikari, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Jayant Panda.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also targeted BJP by tweeting, “Rupee is getting beaten, public is troubled by inflation, unemployment is touching the sky and these people are playing CBI ED, are busy toppling the elected governments of the people across the country, abusing them all day. To whom should people tell their problems, to whom should they go? How will such a country progress?”
