Instagram and Facebook users on Tuesday complained that they got logged out of their social media accounts and could not use them in the evening.
DownDetector, an outage tracking website, was flooded with error messages from thousands of Facebook and Instagram users.
Several individuals experienced difficulties refreshing Instagram pages, while many users were prompted to change their passwords. Shortly thereafter, some YouTube users encountered a similar issue.
Meanwhile, Facebook and Instagram users landed on Twitter and shared their concerns. A user wrote, “Anyone else got freaked and thought they were hacked?“
