Chandigarh: Weeks after broad day killing of 28-year-old Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, his first song âSYLâ was released on Thursday. The song, written and sung by Moose Wala, was uploaded on his YouTube channel in the evening. Video of the song was uploaded on YouTube by his team which was seen by millions of viewers in a short span of time.
SYL was the first song of Moose Wala which was uploaded on interned after his death. The song is based on Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal issue. The singer, through this song, has tried to highlight Punjabâs right over river waters and Sikh prisoners languishing in jails.
The song was allegedly leaked on Wednesday, a day before its release. His family has urged all music producers that they should not share or release any of his unfinished tracks with anyone except his father, Balkaur Singh.
On May 29, Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moose Wala was murdered a day after this security cover was removed by the Punjab government. Moosewala was driving the vehicle, a Mahindra Thar SUV, when the assailants fired at him. The attackers fired multiple rounds of bullets on the vehicles by intercepting the singer. The law enforcement agency had taken the car to the Mansa Police Station to carry out further investigation.

According to the reports, more than 30 rounds of bullets were fired to kill the 28-year-old singer whose security was trimmed a day before the attack. Even after firing several rounds of bullets, the attackers checked whether Moosewala was dead or not. The police had reportedly found a pistol in Moosewalaâs vehicle too.
Moosewala was cremated when thousands flooded the cremation ground to pay their last respects to the singer-politician. Hours later, the Punjab Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested one of the culprits behind the murder.
The arrested was identified as Manpreet Singh Bhau who was arrested from Uttarakhand. Bhau was produced before a court in Mansa on Tuesday and sent to five daysâ police remand.
Meanwhile, Delhi-based gangster Neeraj Bawanaâs gang members have vowed to take revenge and launch a retaliatory attack. In a Facebook story doing rounds on social media, his gang vowed to deliver results in just two days. The message was clear and uploaded by a Facebook profile named Neeraj Bawana Delhi NCR. âJai Baba ki. Got the tragic news. Sidhu Moosewala was our brother from heart. WIll deliver results in 2 days,â read the FB post.
