Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched a blistering attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and opposition parties, accusing them of trying to turn Bihar’s youth into hooligans. Addressing rallies in Sitamarhi and Bettiah, Modi contrasted the NDA’s focus on development and technology with the RJD’s alleged culture of violence.

“These people want to make their own children chief ministers, ministers, MPs, and MLAs, but for your children, they want to make rangdaars (goons). Bihar will never accept this. Jungle raj means pistols, cruelty, corruption, and enmity,” Modi said.
Escalating his attack, the Prime Minister referred to a viral video showing a 10-year-old boy speaking about pistols and rangdari on an election stage in the presence of an RJD candidate.
“If you listen to the campaign songs and slogans of the RJD, you’ll shiver. What they want for the children of Bihar is visible in their election campaigns. Innocent children are being made to say they want to become gangsters,” Modi remarked.
‘Nai Chahiye Katta Sarkar’: PM Modi’s New Bihar Slogan
PM Modi coined a new slogan — “Nai chahiye katta sarkar, fir ek baar NDA sarkar” (We don’t want a gun-wielding government; we want the NDA government again) — calling on voters to reject jungle raj and embrace progress.
He further said, “Jungle Raj means Katta, Kroorta, Katuta, Kusanskar, and corruption. As soon as the jungle raj came, Bihar’s downfall began. RJD ended all development. Any talk of development from them is safed jhooth (white lies).”

Expressing satisfaction over the voter turnout in the first phase of Bihar polls, Modi said, “You have given a big shock (zor ka jhatka) to the opposition. They are getting sleepless nights.”
According to the Election Commission, 65.08 per cent of electors cast their votes on November 6.
The Prime Minister, who has already addressed nearly a dozen rallies in Bihar, urged voters to continue supporting the NDA’s development-driven vision as the state heads into the second and final phase of polling on November 11. The results will be declared on November 14.
