A woman from Lucknow, Priyanka Sharma, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a hotel in Pattaya, Thailand, while she was on holiday with her husband and son. Her father has alleged foul play and called for a thorough investigation into the incident.
Priyanka’s father, Satyanarayan Sharma, has accused her husband, Ashish Srivastava, of murdering her. Ashish, who works as a doctor at Orai Medical College in Uttar Pradesh, has been accused of harassing Priyanka since their marriage in 2017.
According to Satyanarayan, Ashish had an illicit relationship with another woman and subjected Priyanka to physical and mental torture. “Ashish used to harass Priyanka relentlessly, and she had even filed a harassment case against him in the past,” he claimed.

The local authorities in Thailand have launched an investigation into Priyanka’s death, while the family has also sought intervention from Indian officials. Priyanka’s father has reached out to Rajya Sabha member Dinesh Sharma to expedite the investigation and ensure justice.
