Rejecting allegations of corruption in Delhi Excise Police, Manish Sisodia said that the policy was implemented with full transparency.

New Delhi: CBI officers on Sunday said a lookout notice has been issued against Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and 12 others in the FIR filed in the excise policy. The lookout notice was issued to restrict the accused from travelling abroad, CBI officers said.
On Friday, the CBI conducted raids at Sisodia’s house and the house of an IAS officer among over 30 locations across seven states. On the lookout notice against him, Sisodia targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and tweeted, “All your raids have failed, nothing was found. Now, you have issued a lookout notice against me. What is this gimmick Modi ji? I am right here in Delhi, please tell me where should I come.”

A day after the 14-hour long CBI raid at his residence Sisodia on Saturday had attacked the BJP-led central government. The Deputy CM alleged misusing of central agencies to settle political scores with Aam Aadmi Party leaders, especially Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Sisodia, while holding a press conference, said that he may be arrested by the investigation agency in the next three to four days.
Rejecting allegations of corruption in Delhi Excise Police, which was rolled back immediately after the Lieutenant Governor ordered a CBI probe, Sisodia said that the policy was implemented with full transparency. He said that the allegations of wrongdoing are completely false and the party leaders are being framed just for political vendetta.
Sisodia is listed as accused no. 1 in the CBI FIR. Media sources said the Enforcement Directorate may initiate a money laundering probe over the “framing and execution of the AAP government’s excise policy” too.
