As Jharkhand marks the 25th anniversary of its formation on November 15, the state government has announced an elaborate celebration to commemorate this historic milestone. To make the Silver Jubilee Year memorable, a special two-day festival will be held at Morarji Maidan, Ranchi, on November 15 and 16, 2025.
Ahead of the event, a special coordination meeting was held today at Suchna Bhawan Auditorium, chaired by Nodal Officer and Welfare Commissioner Kuldeep Chaudhary, who also serves as the officer in charge of the Exhibition and Immersive Zone. The meeting saw the participation of nodal officers from various departments, where detailed discussions were held on all aspects of the upcoming celebration.
The festival will showcase stalls from all state departments, offering visitors detailed information about various government schemes, welfare programs, and achievements. It aims to celebrate the state’s journey of progress while highlighting its cultural and historical legacy.
A key highlight of the festival will be a special exhibition dedicated to the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and a biographical showcase on ‘Dishom Guru’ Shibu Soren, both of whom symbolize Jharkhand’s spirit of resistance and identity. These exhibits will bring alive the state’s history, struggles, and cultural pride.
