“Balasaheb Thackeray, Uddhav ji and Shiv Sena gave you all everything. Do not fall prey to the conspiracy,” Nitin Deshmukh told Eknath Shinde.
Mumbai: A day after he managed to return, Shiv Sena MLA Nitin Deshmukh said the MLAs were “forcibly” taken to Surat. He also asked rebel MLA Eknath Shinde not to fall prey to BJP’s conspiracy.
“We were forcibly taken to Surat, I tried to run away but was caught by Surat Police. Despite having no complications, doctors told me that I had a heart attack. As many as 300-350 police personnel were keeping an eye on us: Deshmukh said.
“Before me, MLA Prakash Abitkar tried to get away from them but he could not. We got to know about the conspiracy against the MVA government as soon as we reached Surat’s hotel,” said Deshmukh.

In a message to rebel MLA Eknath Shinde, Deshmukh said, “Balasaheb Thackeray, Uddhav ji and Shiv Sena gave you all everything. Do not fall prey to the conspiracy.”
Shiv Sena MLA Kailash Patil, who too returned from the rebel camp, said many MLAs want to return to Mumbai. “We were trapped and taken to Surat, I walked a kilometre to run away from there. We will not ditch Shiv Sena which has made us MLA,” Patil said.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena MP and party spokesperson Sanjay Raut said, “We will consider quitting the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition if the MLAs come back from Guwahati and talk to us.”
“MLAs should not communicate from Guwahati, they should come back to Mumbai and discuss all this with the Chief Minister. We are ready to consider exiting out of MVA if this is the will of all the MLAs but for that, they have to come here and discuss it with the Chief Minister,” said Raut.
