Beijing: A massive fire broke out at a skyscraper in Central China’s Changsha, the state media reported on Friday.
State broadcaster CCTV said, “Thick smoke is spewing from the site, and several dozen floors are burning ferociously. Firefighters have begun work to extinguish the flames and conduct rescues at the scene.”

Hunan’s fire department said, the fire has been put out and no casualties have been found. It added that 36 fire trucks and 280 firefighters were deployed to the scene.
According to the preliminary investigation, the outer wall of the 42-storey building caught fire, said Hunan’s fire department. “At present, the open fire has been extinguished, and no casualties have been found,” it added.
