Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain had attributed the low hospitalisation rate to vaccinations and naturally acquired immunity.
New Delhi: With the reports of 1,485 positive cases on Sunday, total number of the coronavirus patients in the national Capital to 18,84,560. With this, positivity rate in the city recorded 4.89 per cent. Meanwhile, no death was recorded in a day period. The city has witnessed 26,175 deaths due to Coronavirus.
On Saturday, Delhi had witnessed 1,520 cases of Covid-19 and one death due to the disease, while the positivity rate was at 5.10 per cent. On Friday, there was 1,607 cases of Corona and two deaths with a positivity rate of 5.28 per cent. The city had witnessed 1,490 new cases and two deaths on Thursday and the positivity rate was at 4.62 per cent.
With sudden spurt in Covid positive patients, total number of active cases has now increased to 5,997 and that of containment zones has risen to 920. As far as hospitalisation rate is concerned, a total of 154 Covid positive patients are admitted in various hospitals in the city, while 4,358 people are at home-isolation.
