The Al-Qaeda in Indian Subcontinent said it will launch attacks in Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
New Delhi: In a letter, the Al-Qaeda in Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) has issued a threat that the outfit will launch suicide bombings in cities across India to avenge the insult to Prophet Muhammad by former BJP leaders Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal.
AQIS said it will launch attacks in Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. After the threat letter, the central agencies have alerted all the states and have asked them to be cautious of movements.
The letter said, “A few days ago, the propagators and flag bearers of Hindutva – a system and philosophy hostile to the religion and Shariah of Allah – insulted and slandered the purest of beings, the most honourable after God himself, Muhammad al Mustafa, Ahmad al Mujtaba, and his noble and pure wife, the mother of the believers, Sayyidah Ayesha bint Abu Bakr as Siddeeq in the most vile and evil manner on an Indian TV channel. In response to this affront, the hearts of Muslim all over the world are bleeding and are filled with feelings of revenge and retribution.”

“The saffron terrorists should now await their end in Delhi, Bombay, UP and Gujarat. They should find refuge neither in their homes nor in their fortified army cantonments,” the letter said.
Meanwhile, two days after the BJP suspended its spokesperson Nupur Sharma from the party over her controversial remarks about Prophet Muhammad and the Muslim community, the Mumbra Police summoned her before it on June 22 to record her statement in the case.
