Noida: A couple of days after a pet dog attacked a boy inside the lift in Ghaziabad society, a similar incident has happened inside a lift in an upscale society in Noida. As per the report, the incident took place in Apex society in Sector 75 where a dog bit a young man who was in the lift. The victim, a delivery person by profession, was standing at a corner of the lift when he was bitten by the dog.
Though the residents of the society claimed that the incident took place 2-3 weeks ago, the video went viral after a recent dog bite incident inside a lift in a society in Ghaziabad. They said that the delivery boy was from a nearby shop who had come to deliver medicines to one of the society residents. They claimed that the pet dog owner took serious concern of the issue and settled down with the victim. The owner also provided money to the victim for medical treatment.

The video snippet showed that a pet dog and owner, a middle-aged woman, entered the lift and after a few seconds, the dog jumped on the kid and bit him. The child kept crying in pain while the owner did not pay any heed to him. When the door of the lift opened, the woman along with her pet dog simply walked out of the lift.
Since video of the incident went viral, parents of the kid lodged a police complaint seeking penal action against the owner of the dog. Following the complaint, police filed an FIR against her in relevant sections and started investigating the case. Amid growing pressure, officials from Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation started their investigation which further revealed that the dog was not even registered. The corporation has imposed a fine of Rs 5000 on the woman for keeping the dog without registration.
