Shefali Jariwala Cause of Death | In a significant development in the Shefali Jariwala death case, initial investigations point towards medical causes rather than any suspicious circumstances behind the 42-year-old actress’s untimely demise. Jariwala, best known for her iconic appearance in the music video Kaanta Laga and her stint on Bigg Boss 13, passed away on June 27 after collapsing at her residence in Andheri, Mumbai.
According to sources close to the investigation, Shefali had been undergoing anti-aging treatments for several years. On the day of her death, she was reportedly fasting for a religious ceremony at home when she administered her regular anti-aging injection. Shortly after, between 10 and 11 p.m., her health deteriorated—her body began to tremble, and she lost consciousness.
She was immediately rushed to a hospital by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, and family members, where doctors declared her brought dead. Police have confirmed that there were no signs of any external injuries or conflict, and have seized several medications from the residence, including anti-aging vials, vitamin supplements, and gastric pills.

Authorities have so far recorded eight statements, including those from family members, domestic staff, and healthcare professionals. Investigators believe the combination of fasting and the injection may have caused a fatal cardiac event, although they are awaiting final confirmation from the postmortem report and laboratory analysis of the seized medications.
