This park in Delhi has replicas of famous monuments from across India

New Delhi: If you are in Delhi and worried about traveling to far off distances amid the ongoing pandemic, this weekend you could be at Bharat Darshan Park housed in Punjabi Bagh.
A unique waste-to-art park, the artistic galore has 22 replicas of famous monuments and structures from all corners of the country.


So, if travelling to Agra or Kolkata seems to be difficult now, this park has slices to offer from various states.


Among the replicas are the Taj Mahal of Agra, Victoria Memorial of Kolkata, Hawa Mahal of Jaipur, Konark Sun Temple of Odisha, Meenakshi Temple of Madurai in Tamil Nadu and others.


Inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on December 25 last year, the park, under the jurisdiction of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC), was beautified at a total expenditure of Rs 20 crore.
