NCPCR urges Election Commission & Delhi Police for action against Durgesh Pathak: Delhi BJP

It may be recalled that during the course of campaigning for Rajinder Nagar on June 18, a video went viral showing two children distributing handbills of AAP candidate Durgesh Pathak following which Adesh Gupta wrote a letter to NCPCR chairman.

New Delhi: The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), taking cognizance of complaint from State BJP President Adesh Gupta, has issued a notice to AAP candidate for Rajinder Nagar assembly by election Durgesh Pathak, and has urged the Election Commission of India and Delhi Police to take appropriate and legal action respectively against him. Adesh Gupta later urged the Delhi Chief Election Office that taking note of this; it should immediately cancel the candidature of Durgesh Pathak.

The Party State President said despite being member of Delhi Commission for Child Rights, Pathak paid Rs 100 each to children during his election campaign for distributing hand bill which amounts to a political crime. He said the innocent children of Delhi who should rather be studying; Kejriwal government is using them for its publicity. The fact is Kejriwal has stooped to such lows only because he knows that only people of Rajinder Nagar but entire Delhi are now standing against him because he has not fulfilled any of promises made to them and hence this low level politics.

Earlier, Gupta had urged to the people of Delhi to share any information they have of Arvind Kejriwal’s corruption on email corruptionofkejriwal@gmail.com. As the party will launch a massive campaign against Kejriwal government’s corruption from June 22. On the first day of campaign, all MPs and office bearers of the party will tour all seven hospitals to know the ground reality as to what was done in the name of Corona treatment.
