Delhi Congress leaders in a rally on Sunday

New Delhi: Delhi Congress said that the condition of the broken and potholed roads of Delhi is so pathetic that vehicles have to virtually crawl on the roads at a speed of around 40 to 45 kilometres, resulting in a wait of upto 10 minutes at every traffic signal, causing not only fuel loss but also pollution. He said that the broken roads are visible testimony that the Arvind Kejriwal Government, in collusion with the BJP-ruled Municipal Corporations of Delhi, has destroyed Delhi in every sense, and the deterioration of infrastructure.

DPCC President Anil Kumar said that the Arvind Kejriwal Government’s tactics of misleading the people with wrong information and concocted data are now striking them back like a boomerang as people now believe only what they see and experience, and the broken roads stand out like sore wounds, to expose the lies of the Arvind Kejriwal Government.

Anil Kumar said that the Arvind Kejriwal Government, in collusion with the BJP, were doing illegal and anti-people activities to ruin the common people, and the liberalised Liquor Policy will not only destroy the unemployed youth, but also a serious law and order situation. He said that corruption to the tune of Rs 500 crore was the main reason for the new excise policy as Arvind Kejriwal used it as a bait to extend illegal gratification to the AAP legislators and party workers.

Party leader Captain Khavinder Singh said that there was an undercurrent of anger against the AAP and the BJP among the people for their hollow and unfulfilled promises and corruption, and he exhorted the Congress workers to make door to door visits to expose them, and bring back Congress to power in the MCD elections.
