All 9 ministers of Uttrakhand Govt are crorepatis: ADR

ADR has analysed that the minister with the highest declared total assets is Satpal Maharaj from Chaubattakhal constituency with assets worth Rs 87.34 crore and the minister with the lowest declared total assets is Chandan Ram Dass from Bageshwar (SC) constituency with assets worth Rs 1.24 crore.

New Delhi: With the average assets of ministers of Uttrakhand government is Rs 16 crore, self-sworn affidavits of all nine ministers including chief minister are crorepatis, said Association of Democratic Research (ADR) on Thursday.  The analysis, however, revealed that there are no ministers who have declared criminal cases against themselves.

According to the ADR, the minister with the highest declared total assets is Satpal Maharaj from Chaubattakhal constituency with assets worth Rs 87.34 crore and the minister with the lowest declared total assets is Chandan Ram Dass from Bageshwar (SC) constituency with assets worth Rs 1.24 crore.

It has further analysis that six ministers have declared liabilities out of which the minister with the highest liabilities is Subodh Uniyal of Narendranagar constituency with Rs 1.03 crore of liabilities. Two ministers have declared their educational qualification to be between 10th and 12th standard while seven ministers have declared having an educational qualification of graduate or above.

ADR has also analysed that four ministers have declared their age to be between 41 and 60 years while five ministers have declared their age to be between 61 and 70 years.
