410 civilian bodies found in kyiv region retaken from Russia: Ukraine

Ukraine accused Russia of a “deliberate massacre” in the town of Bucha, 30 kilometer (19 miles) north-west of the capital city of Kyiv. Bucha Mayor Anatoly Fedoruk told the media on Saturday that 280 bodies were buried in mass graves.

New Delhi: On 39th day of war between Russia and Ukraine, the later accused former of killing innocent civilians in its territory. Ukrainian authority, after recently taking control of whole regions of Kyiv, has recovered 410 bodies of civilians. Meanwhile, Russia has denied killing civilians saying that the accusations were “another production of the Kyiv regime and the Western media.”

Ukraine’s its prosecutor general Iryna Venediktova said national television, “410 bodies of dead civilians were evacuated out of the liberated territories of the Kyiv region. Forensic experts have already examined 140”.

If reports to believe, there is no power, no water, and no gas supplies in Bucha, forcing residents to cook out in the open and even they do not know when the next air strike will hit them.

Significantly, Russia promised to cut down its military operations in Kyiv and Chernihiv after talks between negotiators in Turkey’s Istanbul. Though Russian forces have reportedly retreated from Kyiv and some other cities, speculations are rife that they are gearing up for next fight in the Donetsk region with the motive to take control of Mariupol, a port city of Ukraine. Also, Russian forces have reportedly been regrouping in the Donbas region to capture the region.
